Capacity building in EIA has been achieved through:

a)   Implementation of EIA Projects
      Nine EIA projects have been undertaken in the areas of tourism, industry and infrastructure.

b)   Preparation of EIA Guidance Notes
      To assist local consultants in preparing EIA reports guidelines are being produced as follows:

c)   Training Workshops
      15 EIA training workshops have been held as well as 2 workshops for "Training of Trainers".
