Objective: 

(1) To share the EEAA’s experiences of a series of activities on hazardous chemical substances 
management, especially on PCBs, PAHs, and heavy metals under REMIP, and exchange 
opinions to actualize sound management of hazardous chemical substances with 
participants of the seminar.
 
(2) To exchange information and experiences of hazardous chemical substances management 
in Arab and African regions, and discuss on necessary actions to actualize sound 
management of hazardous chemicals. 

(3) To introduce Japanese system for management and risk evaluation of hazardous chemical 
substances to assist hazardous chemical substances management in Arab and African 
regions.
