How to get to the protectorate?
From Cairo you can reach the area using private or public transportation (taxi or bus boarded from Qoulaly bus station) heading to the town of El Arish, the capital of North Sinai Governorate. Once beyond the village Mazar on the Qantara-Arish highway look for a large sign that indicates the entrance to the Protected Area, which is located some 120km past Qantara, or 35km before El Arish. From El Arish the Protected Area can be reached by taxi.
