In the occasion of the International day for the preservation of the Ozone layer (16th of September of every year), the Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs (MSEA) in association with United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) present the Ozone Protectors Competition for 2009.

Competition Rules and Regulations

1. Age should not exceed 15 years.

2. Answers should be handwritten or typed and could be sent via email.

3. The last date to receive answers is 15/10/2009.

4. Answers should be addressed to EEAA (Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency), “Ozone Protectors” competition, on P.O Box 11728, Cairo, Egypt, or via email address: Ozoneday2009@hotmail.com

Competition Prizes

A free trip to Port Ghalib resort, Marsa Alam, Red Sea, sponsored by the Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs for the first 10 places, including:

1. Two Egypt Air airplane tickets to and from Port Ghalib (Winner and Companion).

2. Full board stay for three nights in a double bedroom at one of the Intercontinental hotels in Port Ghalib.

3. The Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs (MSEA) holds a ceremony to distribute additional prizes to the best two out of the ten winners, sponsored by the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP).
