Objective

The project aims at demonstrating new energy saving measures. Implementing these measures reduced the cooling load and the total electricity consumption of the building. Energy saving was mainly achieved by insulating the roof with an insulating-reflective coating, adding extra shading devices, sealing air leaks and reducing energy consumption of artificial lighting. With these measures, the total load demand of the building was reduced with 30%.
