A. A presentation of EHSIMS during the Arab League Conference for Utilizing of Chemical Substances and Hazardous Wastes in the Industrial Sector and their environmental and health impact. The conference was held in Abou-Dhabi (UAE) from 14 to 16/5/2001. The need for a regional system to manage hazardous substances based on the Egyptian successful experience in the EHSIMS was one of the important recommendations of the conference.

B. Presentation of EHSIMS capabilities in (The risk Management in Coastal Zone) in Alexandria which was held on 18/6/2001; it mainly dealt with the emergency plans.

C. Presentation to the Civil Defense head quarters concerning:

· EHSIMS for the Arab Civil Defense Officers

· Environmental disasters resulted from the accidental release of hazardous substances in the period from 18 to 25/8/2001

D. A presentation of EHSIMS to H.E the Minister of Interior of Senegal during his visit to the Civil Defense Authority operation room using EHSIMS. This was on the 26^th of September 2001.

E. A presentation of EHSIMS to TV program (Good morning Egypt) in Channel One (main channel) on the 3^rd of October 2001.

F. A presentation of EHSIMS during a session on (Regulations Too Much or Not Enough) in the Atomic Energy Authority (AEA). The session was in the framework of a training program on the medical sides that appear in facing the radiation emergencies. The session was attended by 32 physicians and EHSIMS capabilities were demonstrated on the 24^th of October 2001.
