Participating in other workshops

Participation in the Tripartite workshop on the ILO Conventions No.170 (Safety in the use of Chemicals at work) and No.174 (Prevention of major Industrial Hazards) which was held during the period from 16 to 18/7/2001. The workshop discussed the ratification of the C170, C174 and the Egyptian mechanisms to prevent major industrial accidents as compared to the provisions of C174. It was necessary after the workshop that we should take into consideration the involvement of the Ministry of Manpower to EHSIMS due to the role they play in the prevention of industrial accidents and the safe use of chemicals inside the work place.


Participation in the workshop at the Atomic Energy Authority (AEA) for discussing the protection of ARE ports from illegal entrance of nuclear substances and radiological resources.


Anticipation in the workshop of the 3rd International Conference Environmental 2001 and Trade fair for Management and Technology at the Fair Ground from 29-31/10/2001, which was held under the auspices of H.E Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak.


Participating in the workshop made by the Integrated Industrial Solid Waste Management project (IISWM) in 6th October City on the 15th of October 2001.
