Isolate spill or leak area immediately for at least 50 to 100 meters (160 to 300 feet) in all directions.

Wear positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
Wear chemical protective clothing, which is specifically recommended by the manufacture.
Structural firefighter’s protective clothing is recommended for situations ONLY; it is not effective in spill situations. |

Add slowly to a large amount of solution of soda ash and a label lime by stirring.
Discharge the solution with large amount of water into a skin lined with protective matting and filled with shipped marble.
