Opportunities for Consulting Services

EPAP Technical and Institutional Support Component (EEAA-TISC) can provide the Egyptian Industry with the following consultant services:

• assistance in identifying the relevant non-compliance problems and alternative clean technology or end-of-pipe solutions to these problems

• environmental audits of proposed projects or entire facility

• assessment of the environmental impacts of the emissions and proposed abatement projects

• assistance in economical analysis of the proposed projects

• assistance in preparation of the tender documents, tender evaluation, and preparing the contract documents with international contractors

• assistance in preparing a self-monitoring scheme for the project, which is a precondition for the World Bank sub-loan

Furthermore, the EPAP-TISC can provide assistance not directly related to investment projects funded by the World Bank or EIB:

• assistance in preparing a Pollution Abatement Action Plan for department or entire factory

• training of industrial management

• training of environmental inspectors

• preparation of pollution abatement manuals and other publications

For these and other similar tasks, the EPAP-TISC recruits local and international highly qualified experts. Individual experts, research institutes, and consultant firms are welcome to send their CVs and references material stating their field of expertise. From this roster of consultants, the TISC management will select those who are invited to tender for each individual task following the yearly Work Plan.
