The Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs, Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency/ National Ozone Unit in cooperation with GTZ Proklima, Germany, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, Fonds Francais pour l’Environnement Mondial, France and Japan International Cooperation Agency and the Egyptian Ministry of Industry will organize a workshop
"Replacement Strategies of CFC Chillers in African Countries" aiming to identify possible partnerships and contributions that will provide sufficient incentives for local chillers owners in the participating countries. By the end of the workshop; country specific action plans will illustrate the focus and division of work between international and national partners, their roles and contributions.
During the workshop the following subjects will be discussed and presented from different participants: technical state of the art, energy policies and energy efficiency, government frame works and incentives, experiences of suppliers, demands of customers and funding schemes on national and international levels. Contributors from all partner groups will be asked to present their experiences.
