Eng. Maged George, Minister of State for Environmental Affairs, submitted a report to Mr. Abdel Meguid Mahmoud Attorney General against the journalist / Hatem Shalabi, and Mr.Ahmed Abdel Hadi, editor of Shabab Misr Newspaper about what was published in this newspaper. Mr. Minister, considered these news libelous and defamatory to him and his family. He requested Attorney General to take all legal and judicial procedures against the journalist and editor to ensure the detection of these lies and falsehoods, and clarify their attempt to mislead public opinion through insulting to the honorable and officials people of this country.

The minister also sent a letter to journalists' chief about what was published in the newspaper which is considered breach to Press Charter and violation of journalistic rules, and asked him to take the necessary action against the newspaper and its responsible for publishing such false and fabricated news.
